Ingolstadt/Berlin, February 4, 2014
Germany’s first real cyberstore has gone live: With prominent guests from society, arts and industry, AUDI AG opened the world’s third Audi City on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. About 250 invited guests, including German actors Moritz Bleibtreu and Wotan Wilke Möhring, were present when Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG, and Axel Strotbek, Member of the Board of Management for Finance and Organization, launched the trendsetting sales concept in the German capital.
The focus of the opening night: the digital world of Audi City as a stage for two musical highlights – live performances by the Berlin music producer and singer Fritz Kalkbrenner and by Xavier Naidoo.
Audi City displays the entire model range of the brand in digital form, and combines new, virtual presentation options with personal consultation and exclusive services. Visitors can use innovative media technology to configure their own customized Audi, book a test drive or directly order the production of their car in the Audi plants. Audi City Berlin at Kurfürstendamm 195 will open its doors to customers and interested visitors on February 7.
