Big News for Aprilia at AMID Motorcycle Expo
Aprilia is a manufacturer on a mission with interesting new models pouring out of the factory on a regular basis. Fans of the Italian marque will be able to see the full range of Aprilia models at the AMID Motorcycle Expo between the 8th-11th August, including the all-important new Caponord 1200 Travel Pack.
The Caponord is a big deal for Aprilia, and for South Africa since it caters to the adventure touring rider – the strongest segment of the local motorcycle market. With a powerful V-twin, electronic adaptive suspension, adjustable drive modes and traction control it offers a combination of features perfect for dealing with SA’s hugely varied riding terrain.
Other new models on display from Aprilia include the naked Shiver 750 now equipped with ABS, and their top of the range naked sport bike, the Tuono V4 R APRC ABS.
Also on the Aprilia stand will be 2013 versions of the RSV4 R APRC superbike that took Max Biaggi to two World Superbike championships, the super-scooter known as the SRV 850 ABS and the Mana 850 – a fully automatic motorcycle using many of the same ingredients as the 850 scooter.
Of particular interest to the younger rider is Aprilia’s RS4 125, a bike that emulates the technology and desirability of its bigger V4 brother and provides the ultimate introduction to sport riding.
Aprilia brings a sporting element to all its models and you can examine them up close and personal at the AMID Motorcycle Expo from 8th August.
