The Acura RDX was awarded a 2013 Polk Automotive Loyalty Award in the “Luxury Compact CUV” category, recognizing superior performance in owner retention.
Having been completely redesigned for the 2013 model year with a new 273-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission and an available all-wheel-drive system, RDX provides good reasons to be loyal. The RDX exterior incorporates an aerodynamically efficient body with Amplitude Reactive Dampers and a motion adaptive electronic power steering system. Inside the 2014 RDX, occupants will appreciate an interior design with rich interior material. RDX has proven popular with customers and recorded monthly sales bests for 21 straight months, completing its record run in 2013 with a total sales increase of 51.6 percent for the year.
Presented by IHS Automotive, the Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards are based on actual model year purchase/lease activity and recognizes manufacturers for superior performance in owner retention – a critical aspect of building and maintaining market share. Owners had such a positive overall experience that they came back to buy another vehicle of the same model, make, or manufacturer. The Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards are the only fact-based awards in the industry based on owner loyalty. Awards are based on actual consumer transactions to determine the winners and information is obtained from state registration and lease transaction information.
