If you did not make it to this year’s Johannesburg International Motor Show 2011, you can now view the motor show online. The Johannesburg International Motor Show is the biggest automotive event and exhibition on the African Continent.
This year 3D Car Shows have attended the show, and have created a Complete Virtual Tour of the show.
This allows visitors that have been to the show, visitors who could not go to the show, and international visitors the opportunity to view the show, just as it happened.
According to Gerald Ferreira – “They have created a comprehensive 3D Virtual Reality Tour of the show. People will be able to view Virtual Tours of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Citroen, Chery, Chevrolet, Daihatsu, FIAT, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, ISUZU, Jaguar, Lexus, Mazda, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Subaru, Suzuki, TATA, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. These are the Major Motor Manufacturers and Motor Companies in South Africa.”
“International readers and manufacturers wondering what the South African Automotive industry is up to and curious about the South African Automotive industry can now view the event in Virtual Reality”.
The Virtual Tour consists of +/- 75 High Quality Virtual Tour Images, and readers will be able to walk through the entire motor show from Manufacturer to Manufacturer. The 3D Car Shows site also have approximately 2500 articles on various vehicles and thousands of images of vehicles from Motor Shows or the manufacturers.
“We have created a digital archive of the Johannesburg Motor Show since 2004 and visitors will be able to find these images and photographs on the 3D Car Shows site.” – Ronel Jordaan
The Johannesburg International Motor Show has taken some time to create, but version 1 is now ready for people all over the world to enjoy! – According to Gerald Ferreira they will soon add some more functionality to the Virtual Tour. We have also created videos at the show, and will add these to the Virtual Tour.
In the next phase we will add more details to the Motors visitors to the 3D Car Shows site, and Johannesburg International Motor Show will be able to click on the cars, and find more information about the specific cars. One can find information such as the price, specifications, photographs and videos of the vehicle.
