The UK’s leading automotive PR agency has been selected by three new clients, which has in turn led to the appointment of new members of staff.  The news follows the agency’s latest industry award win, having been named ‘PR Consultancy of the Year’ in the headlineauto Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

DriveCam, the USA-based leader in driver safety and efficiency, has chosen PFPR Communications to represent the company through PR and marketing communications as it launches in Europe.  Another new client, JCA Coatings, has appointed PFPR as its sole PR agency, responsible for devising and implementing a media relations-focused programme in the vehicle repair and refinishing sector.

URT Group, which works with several front-running Formula 1 teams and the Ministry of Defence, has selected PFPR to help promote its services in the composite and manufacturing industries.

To support the continued expansion of PFPR’s client base – plus increased demand for services and support from existing international clients – the agency has brought in new team members at all levels of the business.

New account director Ingo Spruytenburg joins following a five-year spell in PR at Mazda Motor Europe’s German headquarters, including a period as interim PR Director for Mazda Automobiles France.  Prior to joining Mazda, the multilingual automotive industry specialist gained PR experience with Daihatsu in Germany and worked in numerous commercial departments at the German operations of Ford and Renault Nissan.

Max Tuttle becomes the agency’s newest senior account manager, bringing extensive international automotive experience that includes five years at Mitsubishi Motors Europe’s Amsterdam HQ, and two years at each of JATO Dynamics and Polk Marketing.  Most recently, Max has fulfilled a senior role at a PR agency in the Middle East, while also undertaking assignments for Nissan, Subaru and McLaren.

Yasmine Triana joins the agency as account executive, having gained valuable experience at other agencies, most recently at Westgate Communications.

CEO Peter Rawlinson commented: “Our three exciting new clients bring a wealth of opportunities for PFPR, and we’re looking forward to providing for them the same high standard of service that sees us form effective partnerships with clients for the long term.  Our continued growth enables us to invest further in our award-winning team, and we’re delighted to welcome all of our newest recruits to the UK’s leading specialist automotive communications agency.”

The headlineauto Awards is the only awards programme that evaluates agencies operating within the automotive sector, with nominations and voting carried out by automotive journalists and PRs.

Kent-based PFPR Communications was founded in 2001, and its 27-strong team represents multiple international clients in the automotive and transport-related industries across the globe.  Further information on the company can be found at pfpr.com.
