Nationwide had a successful evening at the recent British Bodyshop Awards winning two out of the three award categories in which they were nominated.
At the ABP Club British Bodyshop Awards ceremony, hosted by Gabby Logan, 28 winners were selected from 113 finalists of 16 presenting companies – including insurers, vehicle manufactures, accident managers and independent networks. Nominated in three categories, AXA Commercial Lines Bodyshop of the Year, Zurich Insurance Group Bodyshop of the Year, and Thatcham’s Excellence in Training Support, Nationwide went on to win both the AXA and Zurich Bodyshop of the Year awards for their Edinburgh and Daventry Repair Centres respectively.
Criteria for the AXA Commercial Lines category was based on two elements, Customer Service and Cost Control, with a weighting system used to shortlist the finalists. AXA awarded the top accolade to Nationwide’s Edinburgh Repair Centre for their high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores and low complaint ratio for the customer service element, and demonstrable value for money through their low average repair cost and repair over replace approach.
Nationwide’s second award of the evening, Zurich Insurance Group Bodyshop of the Year, was awarded to Nationwide Daventry on their competitive Key to Key times while maintaining an excellent repair quality, high positive customer feedback and CSI scores and minimal customer complaints.
Nationwide Chief Executive Michael Wilmshurst explains what the awards mean to Nationwide “To be awarded the highest accolade of Bodyshop of the Year from not one but two leading insurers is testimony to the hard work the team at Nationwide has put in over many years to deliver a better service to all our customers. Recognition for our speed, quality, service and value is both satisfying and encouraging that we are delivering the right service in this challenging market place.”
