Mitsubishi Motors in the UK was delighted to attend The Guild of Motoring Writers annual dinner and awards ceremony on the 1st of December at the RAC Club in Pall Mall, London where Guild members welcomed sponsors, members of the automotive public relations industry and aspiring young journalists.
The “Mitsubishi Motors Award for Innovation in Regional Journalism 2011” trophy and prize were presented to David Duffy of the Oxford Mail for his outstanding contribution to regional journalism through his consistent and comprehensive reviews. This makes it the second year in a row that David has won the coveted Mitsubishi award, recognising not only his innovative approach to motoring journalism but also his consistently high standards in this area.
Toby Marshall, Sales & Marketing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK said:
“With a second successive award, David has proven that he can maintain his eye for innovation within the regional motoring sphere over the longer term, whilst not compromising on the standard and breadth of coverage. We are all having to cope with a rapidly changing industry with huge pressures being placed on regional and national publications alike. In this context, his ability to advance and expand the regional coverage over the last few years is a particularly noteworthy achievement.”
