The 26th anniversary of the event was a great opportunity for Scottish dealers to meet customers and demonstrate why Mitsubishis are the ideal vehicle for off-roaders and horse-lovers.

The show, held at Blair Atholl in Perthshire, is Scotland’s top equestrian event and attracts more than 40,000 visitors. The Bruadar Country Fair also ran alongside the equestrian trials on the Saturday and Sunday.

Olympic medallist horse riders competed alongside amateurs in the four international event classes, while British showjumping and showing classes provided a platform for riders in other disciplines to compete on the hallowed turf of Blair Castle.

Graham Walker, Dealer Principal at Fife Mitsubishi, said: “It’s always a good event for us and it’s in such a fantastic setting. We get great interest from customers because they’re looking for a car with the capability of a Mitsubishi. And the weather has been fantastic across all four days!”

Alister Scott, Dealer Principal at Adam Purves Mitsubishi in Galashiels, who has been to the show every year since the dealership opened, said: “It was a fantastic event and there were lots of horses! From a business perspective there were lots of enquiries and it’s a good opportunity to meet customers from outside the area.”

The four other dealers that also took up a stand at the event were Station Garage Mitsubishi, Borders Cars, Phoenix Mitsubishi and Tweedmouth Service Station.

Michael Deans, Sales Manager at Tweedmouth Service Station, said: “The events team put on a fantastic show and the four-wheel-drive course was great. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet lots of people as it’s a national show so there are customers from all over the UK.”
