Babcock, the distributors of DAF trucks in South Africa, will showcase its premium product line at the Johannesburg Truck & Bus Show’ which will run concurrently with the Johannesburg International Motor Show at Expo Centre, Nasrec, from June 6-16. The display will be on Stand D17 in Hall 5.
“Babcock was awarded the DAF Truck agency in South Africa in June 2010,” said Wilna Steyn, Director of Babcock International Group – Africa. “The upcoming motor show offers an excellent opportunity for us to exhibit our industry-leading DAF vehicles to African commercial vehicle customers.”
The DAF vehicles on display will include the versatile CF series for regional and vocational applications as well as the flagship XF105 for longer haulage.
All DAF vehicles are equipped with PACCAR engines. PACCAR’s engines have been honoured with the “Bus Engine of the Year” award at Busworld Asia for five consecutive years.
