St. Patrick’s Day 2012

St Patricks Day Today 17^th March 2012 marks the annual celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day is a Christian festival celebrating the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. The St. Patrick’s Day festivals are now a annual world phenomenon with many countries like Argentina, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and Canada also participating unofficially in the St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations and Festivities.

I must admit that I have expected Google to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day internationally by placing the Google Doodle on the FrontPage of their international faced search engine. Instead Google have once again this year opted to only display the “St. Patrick’s Day” Google Doodle on the FrontPage of the Irish Search Engine.

Nelson Mandela in Hospital

Nelson Mandela Hospitalized Johannesburg, South Africa. We have just learned that former South African President Mr Nelson Mandela have been hospitalized. According to News24 Mr Nelson Mandela have been suffering from a Stomach ailment.

In a statement from the South African President Jacob Zuma whishes to advicse that President Mandela was admitted to hospital on the 25th February 2012.

At the time of writing this article it were still not clear to which Hospital Mr Nelson Mandela were admitted to. Mr Mac Maharaj Presidents Zuma spokesman have advised that he will keep the media updated with the latest development.

Google SOPA: Why you should oppose SOPA Today

Today I would like to provide you with an example of why you should oppose SOPA (Stop Online Privacy Act). I am going to use my YouTube Adsense account as an example. Over the Christmas period Google treated millions of visitors using their search engine with Google Search Surprises. If you searched for “let it snow” there were snow falling over the Google Search Results and it freeze-up the screen. If you haven’t seen the “let it snow” Google Feature you can search for “let it snow” on Google and you will see what I am talking about.
