- New contemporary look for all three variants, including LED daytime running lights (Dynamique TomTom and above), gloss black finish to bumper with chrome highlights, and new selection of alloy wheels. Coupé also gains chrome trims on the air intakes (Dynamique TomTom and above)
- New entry-level Expression+ sees inclusion of Bluetooth™, USB connection and upgraded audio system to 4 x 20W radio CD with fingertip remote control and AUX input, on top of already high equipment level: 16” alloys, air conditioning and front fog lights
- Top-of-the-range GT-Line TomTom adds auto parking brake with Hill Start Assist, parking camera with rear parking sensors, Arkamys 3D Sound 4 x 35W audio system – worth £760, but list price only £270 greater (dCi 160)
- Other additions as seen on the recently facelifted Scénic since January 2012 include new options: Visio System by Renault (lane departure warning and automatic high/low beam headlight function)
- Engines: three new power trains appear in Mégane 2012 – all with Stop & Start. 1.2 TCe 115 petrol, 1.5 dCi 110 and 1.6 dCi 130 – boasting impressive performance, economy and emission figures. 1.2 TCe 115 offers diesel-rivalling 53.3 mpg (combined cycle) and 119g/km CO2, 1.5 dCi 110 gives offers class-leading 80.7 mpg and emits only 90 g/km CO2- the lowest of any C-segment diesel on sale today.1.6 dCi 130, the world’s most powerful and frugal diesel engine of its size, provides 70.6 mpg and 104 g/km CO2. 1.4 TCe 130 and 2.0 TCe 180 removed from the range
- Mégane 2012 is eligible for the new Renault 4+ programme which launched on 1st February
- Two new colours available for 2012 range – Azzurro Blue and Arctic White
Only a matter of weeks after confirming pricing and specification for its New Twingo, Scénic 2012 and Fluence Z.E. ranges, Renault has now announced pricing for its latest updated range – Mégane 2012 (Coupé, Hatch and Sport Tourer). Prices for the newly facelifted versions of one of Europe’s most successful cars, which is already available to order ahead of 1st April UK official launch, start from £16,275 on-the-road.
