High Wycombe, 8 January 2013 – Hyundai starts the New Year as one of the top ten best-selling manufacturers in the UK – the first time for any Korean car brand – after recording best-ever sales of 74,285 vehicles. Hyundai UK outperformed the car market by more than three times increasing sales over 2011 by 18.1% and it secured a record market share of 3.63%. It also became the fastest-growing manufacturer in the Fleet sector with an impressive 40% increase in fleet sales versus 2011.

Best ever half year sales outside of scrappage – up 11.38% on 2011
New i20 and New Generation i30 joins line-up, delivering sales boost
UK sales contribute to just over 15% of all Hyundai sales in Europe

High Wycombe, 6 July 2012 – Hyundai UK has continued its growth in June selling 7,362 vehicles – the highest ever June sales for the company – and securing a 3.88% market share. This new high represented a 38.5% increase over June last year, and contributed to a rise in sales of 11.38% in the first-half of this year versus 2011. 35,168 units have been sold year to date which equates to an improved market share of 3.33%.

HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA REPORTS RECORD JANUARY SALES

Total sales up 15 percent, retail sales up 19 percent
North American Car of the Year – Hyundai Elantra

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 1, 2012 – HyundaiMotor America today announced all-time record January sales of 42,694 units, up 15 percent versus 2011.

Despite continued tight availability at Hyundai dealers across the nation, January retail sales were up 19 percent from last year due to continued strong performance throughout the Hyundai line-up, with the hot-selling Elantra up 13 percent and Genesis/Equus sales up 27 percent over last year. Fleet mix remains low at nine percent as the focus remains on optimizing dealer throughput and meeting consumer demand given ongoing production capacity constraints.
