Fiat Automobiles renews its sponsorship of the Fiat Yamaha Team for 2009-2010

Fiat Automobiles SpA announces the renewal of its sponsorship of the official Yamaha Team, the Fiat Yamaha Team, for two years – 2009–2010 – of the world MotoGP class championship.

Covering itself with glory in 2008, Fiat Yamaha Team rider, Valentino Rossi, won the world driver’s title; the young Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo won the title for the best newcomer of the year; and the Fiat Yamaha Team won the team championship.

FORD LOOK FORWARD TO HALFWAY MARK IN RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

Round four of this year’s Sasol National Rally Championship marks the halfway point in this year’s championship fight. The Total International Rally starts on 29 May in Ermelo, Mpumalanga.

Team Ford Racing will be looking to build on their progress at the coming event. Having joined the National Rally Championship fight at the start of the season the team has been focusing on development of its three Ford entries.

FIAT KYALAMI EXPERIENCE SUNDAY 11TH JUNE 2006

Fiat Auto South Africa held a Fiat Kyalami Experience at the famous Grand Prix Circuit this past weekend.

Over 5000 members of the public attending the event held on Sunday the 11th of June 2006. This included over 500 VIP guests of Fiat Auto South Africa.

CONSOLIDATED PROGRESS FOR FIAT PALIO BLUETOOTH RACING TEAM

FiatFiat Palio Bluetooth Racing Team – Rounds 11 & 12 SA Production Car championship

After their success at the last round of the SA Production Car Championship at Zwartkops, victory could not be repeated for the Fiat Palio Bluetooth Racing Team. Round Seven of the Vodacom Power Tour was some consolidation for the Fiat team, complete with a new driver.
