CADILLAC SRX JOINS BLS SEDAN IN INITIAL PRODUCT RANGE

General Motors South Africa has accelerated the introduction of its Cadillac range with the simultaneous launch of the SRX model together with the BLS sedan. The SRX, initially slated to debut later in the year, is immediately available alongside the new mid-size Cadillac BLS sedan.

Cadillac now available in South Africa

General Motors South Africa today announced more details regarding the launch of the Cadillac brand into the South African premium segment of the market.  The first vehicles which will be on offer are the Cadillac BLS, a mid-size luxury sedan, and luxury SUV, the Cadillac SRX.   The Cadillac STS, a large sedan, will be launched during the third quarter of the year.

CADILLAC BLS ENTERS SOUTH AFRICAN MARKET

General Motors South Africa announced in October 2006 that it would be introducing a range of Cadillac models into the South African market. That promise has become a reality with the release of the Cadillac BLS premium midsize sedan. Also for release in March is the Cadillac SRX, a luxury SUV vehicle with genuine all-rounder capabilities which comes to South Africa several months ahead of its projected launch.

Cadillac Enters South African Market

General Motors South Africa has taken the wraps off the Cadillac BLS premium midsize sedan as it prepares for the introduction of this new model to South African buyers early in 2007. First seen at the Frankfurt Show in 2005, the Cadillac BLS had its European sales debut in the second quarter of 2006 and comes to South Africa within a year of the start of that European roll-out.
