Bike Trac is proud to announce its support of the Dakar Dreams trip starting tomorrow with famous British actor Danny John Jules and teammate Graham Hoskins, as the pair attempt to complete one of the toughest motorcycle journeys on the planet – the famous Paris – Dakar Rally route, raising funds in the process for the Riders for Health charity.
Following the route of the 1996 event, the pair will cover huge distances in the process, while tackling notable challenges like the Atlas Mountains and Western Sahara. Departing tomorrow (Thursday 15th March), the team can be followed using Bike Trac’s Event Eagle technology, that plots the route and progress of the team as well as linking to the pairs official Twitter feed.
Bike Trac’s Bill Taylor commented, “We’re delighted to back another of Danny and Graham’s challenges, following the most recent Viva Valenica trip last year. For this epic adventure the guys are using standard Bike Trac units, which like it would for any customer, allows followers to view the route of the team online, as well as offering handy functions like ‘Bike Down’ that will send a text notification should one of the team suffer a fall.”
The team can be followed on the specific Event Eagle tracking website provided by Bike Trac that can be found by visiting the official Dakar Dreams website at motorbikediaries.co.uk
