Brazilian Carnival Sao Paulo

A strong showing for the medium- and heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz trucks in Brazil: At this year’s carnival in São Paulo, Daimler’s subsidiary Mercedes-Benz do Brasil provides five trucks as lead vehicles for the carnival floats.

The tradition-rich samba school „Escola de Samba Sociedade Rosas de Ouro” sets the stage with the five Mercedes-Benz truck models Atego, Axor and Actros. The carnival show presents the cultural diversity of selected volk festivals worldwide to the public.

“The carnival is a big event in Brazil because it brings together people from different backgrounds. Cultural diversity is important for us and is a daily reality for a global player”, emphasizes Jürgen Ziegler, President of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil and CEO for Latin America. “With our participation in the Brazilian Carnival parade we are paying homage to our corporate responsibility and the promotion of culture.”
