Best Doodle 4 Google Doodles 2012
In previous months Google have invited schools to participate in their annual Doodle 4 Google competition. The Doodle 4 Google is a competition open to K-12 students of United States schools to create their own Google doodle. The theme for this year’s Doodle 4 Google competition is “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…”
Google have received about 114,000 entries for the 2012 Doodle 4 Google competition. These have been narrowed down to 10 Google Doodles for each age group, and you can now help determine the winners by visiting the Doodle 4 Google voting page. The voting is open from the 2nd to the 10th May 2012.
This year Google have invited some celebrities to assist with the Judging of the Doodle 4 Google Doodles. The judges have selected only the best Google Doodles from 50 states. The Guest judges incluided Kate Perry, Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, Jordin Sparks, Mo Willems, Holly Black, Tony DiTerlizzi, Brian Nemeckay and Jack Martin.
Doodle 4 Google Grade Groups
Doodles will be judged in the following grade groups:
- Grades K – 3
- Grades 4 – 5
- Grades 6 – 7
- Grades 8 – 9
- Grades 10 – 12
