They say an Englishman’s home is his castle but this August Bank Holiday weekend why not make Eastnor Castle your home and enjoy a slice of country life at inaugural Eastnor Land Rover Show. Enjoy camping and caravanning in the stunning setting of the Deer Park, with the castle itself and the majestic Malvern hills offering a stunning backdrop.
Why not pitch up your tent on Friday 24th August ahead of the show’s start on Saturday 25th to make a real weekend of it? With camping from just £50 when booked in advance for three nights including show tickets for up to three adults and children for Saturday and Sunday, you won’t find a more elegant setting at a better price. Enjoy displays of stunning Land Rovers and 4×4 vehicles from the UK’s best motoring clubs, from heritage models through to modern day, as well as the Difflock Live Arena where there will be demonstrations, vehicle parades and family fun-filled games. The extensive trader village will host all the leading names in Land Rover while the popular autojumble is a haven for those looking for an elusive part or spare.
Go off road, either in your own vehicle or with a passenger ride through the course used be Land Rover for testing, set in the forests surrounding Eastnor Castle and boasting some of the best views in Herefordshire. There will also be country pursuits and games for the whole family to enjoy as well as local produce and cuisine in the food village. Once the show closes, campers can enjoy live entertainment and a licenced bar.
Visitors can also experience the historic beauty of the Eastnor Castle on the Sunday. The castle is still the home of the Hervey-Bathurst family and inside you will find lavish interiors containing medieval armour, fine art, tapestries and a Gothic Drawing Room designed by AW Pugin.
