Avilon becomes second dealer in Russia
Rolls-Royce strengthens dealer network in best-selling Continental European market
Luxury car manufacturer foresees additional sales potential in Moscow
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has today announced that it has further strengthened its dealer network in Russia. Avilon in Moscow has been authorised as the second dealership in the Russian capital by the manufacturer of super luxury cars and will act as ‘Avilon, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Authorised Dealer’. The dealership is now operational and the new showroom will be officially opened in early July by the CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Torsten Müller-Ötvös.
James Crichton, Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for Europe, said, “Rolls-Royce has shown great performance in Russia since we authorised the first dealer in 2004. Our sales in Moscow doubled last year in comparison to 2010 and we see further potential. Moscow, with its population of nearly 12 million people, is larger than Switzerland and hosts the highest number of billionaire residents globally.” He continued: “We are delighted to authorise a partner with a proven track record and an experienced team in the luxury automotive segment.”

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is enjoying sustained sales success. After the record year of 2011, sales in Russia saw a further healthy increase in the first half 2012.
