- Leo the Lion (formerly of The Streets) raising money for The Prince’s Trust by performing 24 gigs in 24 hours.
- Nissan LEAF will help Leo travel around the Capital.
Nissan is providing musician Leo the Lion with three Nissan LEAF cars to support his challenge of performing 24 gigs in 24 hours. The Nissan LEAF was selected as the ideal vehicle for this mission because the 100% electric car is not subject to congestion charge (£10 per day in London), is six times cheaper to fuel than a petrol car, and has no emissions when in use.
Leo the Lion will be performing an amazing 24 live shows from 9pm on July 11th through until 9pm on the 12th July across a diverse and bizarre selection of London venues such as The London Eye, a prison cell, a shop window, the London Dungeons, and the Royal Ballet School.
Leo will be raising money for The Prince’s Youth Trust and fans can attend the gigs for free.
Support for the event follows on from Nissan’s The Big Turn On campaign, an initiative designed to raise awareness of the low-carbon benefits of 100% electric vehicles.
