Today is International Workers Day. The day is also known as May Day, some people may think that “May Day” have something to do with the distress call mayday. This is however far from true. May Day means the 1st Day of May which is celebrated internationally as workers day. In more than 80 countries around the globe it is an official holiday for workers.
We have created a short video about May Day and the Google May Day Doodle. This is a very light hearted video about May day. If you live in a country where May Day / Workers Day / Labor Day is officially celebrated you should not be at work. Labor Day / Workers Day / May Day have been specially declared as a bank holiday for workers to rest on the day. If you are at work, we encourage you to honor May Day and go home!
