Gordon Murray Design today announces their support for the forthcoming Green Man music festival at Glanusk Park in Wales this weekend with their new innovative fuel cell system technology, which features as part of the science, nature and environment aspect of the festival.
The fuel cell system is a stationary power system with an 8kW output (continuous power) Hydrogenics PEM fuel cell and is hybridised with a battery pack. The fuel cell is fuelled using hydrogen, supplied by BOC, a member of The Linde Group. The system is Controller Area Network controlled, and can therefore be easily integrated into a fuel cell vehicle.
Gordon Murray Design led the project in collaboration with BOC, a member of The Linde Group, Imperial College and the University College London with additional technical support from Hydrogenics.
