FDG CONTINUES TO PROTECT UK HAULIERS FROM FUEL THEFT

FDG CONTINUES TO PROTECT UK HAULIERS FROM FUEL THEFT

FuelDefendAs more truck operators look to secure their fleet’s fuel, FuelDefend Global, the world leader in fuel theft prevention devices continues to develop new business both in the UK and further afield.

Operating over 200 trucks and 250 tanks and trailers across 9 UK bases, Abbey is widely acknowledged as the UK’s leading transporter of bulk liquid food ingredients.

MD of the Motor Transport Haulier of the Year, Steve Granite has always favoured the use of fuel anti-siphons to protect the fleet and asked Workshop Planner Chris Dobbie to scan the market for competitive quotes for a floating ball device:  “The products presented to us by two companies had identical features, yet a huge difference in price, so it was obvious for us to change supplier to go with FuelDefend Global.   We have been impressed with the responsiveness of FDG and its excellent service levels, and have already made a number of repeat orders,” said Dobbie.

Steve Granite adds: “In today’s high fuel price environment fuel anti-siphons are essential for all operators and we’ve been delighted with FuelDefend’s product.”

CEO of FDG, Russell Fowler comments: “For operators requiring a floating ball device, we can deliver the best value product in the market, by far.  We continue to convert high-profile operators from competitors to our Hercules! and Abbey’s reputation puts it up at the top of the list.”

FuelDefend Global Ltd is a global leader in anti-siphons and flexible, innovative fuel security technologies. Its products are designed in the UK, manufactured in TUV-approved locations and sold on six continents.
