Following the tragic death of MotoGP’s rising star Marco Simoncelli last year at Sepang, Dainese will this weekend celebrate his life with British band, The Rainband, at its D-Store in Manchester.
The Rainband, a local four-piece from Manchester, have released a single “Rise Again” in memory of ‘Super Sic’. All profits from the tribute single will go to The Marco Simoncelli Foundation who’s aim is to build disabled care homes across the world. Released on Sunday 17 June, “Rise Again” features former World Superbike champion James Toseland on the piano.
On Saturday 23 June, Dainese’s D-Store in Manchester will host the band while they perform a 30-minute set of their hits, including “Rise Again”.
