At the 2012 Adur and Worthing Business awards, Ricardo was recognized with the most ‘Innovative’ and best ‘Large Business’ awards, as well as with the coveted overall title of ‘Business of the Year’
The awards ceremony – hosted at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing, on Friday night, November 16 – is an annual event to celebrate the achievements of business in this region of Sussex. The three awards were received on behalf of Ricardo by director of business operations, David Sheppard, and by Andrew Swayne, senior manager.
“I am pleased and honoured to be able to accept the three 2012 Adur and Worthing Business Awards on behalf of Ricardo,” commented David Sheppard. “This company has been present in the local area for almost a century and throughout this time has remained focused on developing new technologies and innovations that improve energy efficiency and reduce or eliminate harmful emissions, especially within the transportation sectors. While we have grown internationally we have also developed our base in Shoreham, providing high quality jobs and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such the recently announced plans for the new Vehicle Emissions Research Centre for which we have been offered support from the Regional Growth Fund.
