Benfield, the North East’s largest Motor Group, has been chosen by Maserati to operate its first official solus Maserati dealership in the UK.
The UK’s first solus Maserati dealership will be operated from Benfield’s existing premises on Warwick street, Newcastle and will open from the 10th July 2012. The dealership will be the sole distributor of this iconic brand in the area, which returns to the north-east of England following a lengthy absence.
The Warwick Street showroom has the capacity to display all three elements of the Maserati vehicle range: GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Quattroporte, and in addition will allow the business to showcase pre-owned Maserati, all of which will be prepared to the highest standards in the adjoining aftersales facility.

The dealership will be led by Dax Pearce who brings a wealth of experience and passion for the Maserati brand to this new venture. Dax has assembled a first class team of staff who will be dedicated to the Maserati brand and the provision of service levels entirely in keeping with the Maserati brand image.
Benfield Motor Group is an independently owned family business founded in Newcastle in 1957 by John Squires Senior and developed by John Squires Junior, the present chairman.
Benfield now has 34 retail outlets throughout the North East of England, Yorkshire, Cumbria and South West Scotland and with the inclusion of Maserati now represents a portfolio 13 brands.
